When we’re open

Want to kick up a little dirt, maybe even burn off some nitro? Elite Racing’s RC track is located right on Hwy 11 just 10 minutes north of Barrie Ontario in Oro Medonte. Situated on the Computer Elite grounds with full facilities. The track is open 7 days a week, sun up to sun down, from spring till late fall. Schedule a spot and come out to run for fun or join us on a race date.

The track may be offline from time to time for maintenance, repairs or special events including scheduled practice nights. Please check the cameras to see the status of the track, including surface conditions after rain, before heading out.

If you’re new to the sport, consider a Short Course Truck. Four Wheel Drive is a good choice.

A day pass is just $25 plus tax. That will give you a 4 hour time slot that you will need to reserve before heading to the track. Members can run for the full day without paying but still need to schedule their visit for at least one spot that day.

A key code will be provided, after you book your time and pay for it, for washrooms and watering systems after hours when the door is locked.

All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The track officially opens, every year, after our season opener in the spring.

May 24th – Championship Race #1
June 14th – Championship Race #2
June 21th – Rain Make-Up (if needed)
July 5th – Championship Race #3
July 19th – Dash for Cash
July 26th – Championship Race #4
August 23rd – Championship Race #5
September 6th – Championship Final Race #6
September 20th – Dash for Cash (Weather permitting)

 Championship Series will be 6 Races with 1 Drop

General Information:
Dash for Cash / Trophy Race & Championship Series Racing Under the Lights.
Track opens at noon.
Check in begins at 2pm.
Drivers Meeting 4:50pm.
Racing starts 5pm sharp

Rain Dates
NOTICE TO ALL RACERS: We will be providing one RAIN OUT date for the first 2 races. If either of the first 2 races are rained out, it will be run on June 21. If there is more than one rain out, the other will be cancelled.
Race dates and times are “tentative only” and are subject to change without notice.

Championship Series and Dash for Cash vehicle rules and specs:
• 6 Races – One Drop (We drop your lowest score)
All Classes: Use of reverse is NOT permitted during races.
Wheels and Bodies:
Short Course Trucks may NOT run buggy wheels. They must run Short Course wheels.
Short Course 4WD must run Short Course bodies (no open wheels)

• 1/8th scale Buggy (Nitro & Elect Combined) (Max 4S Lipo)
• 1/8th scale Truggy (Nitro & Elect Combined) (Max 4S Lipo)

Championship Series Cost:
Members $30 First Class / $20 for additional classes
Non-Members $40 First Class / $30 for additional classes

Dash for Cash / Trophy Race Cost:
$45 first class; $35 for additional classes.

All Championship Series and Trophy Races will have a 5pm start time unless otherwise posted.

Race days and special events

The track is used for racing on the days set out in the schedule for the year. The racing schedule is posted on this website. Racing is open to everyone, but it is usually recommended that you have practiced at the track prior to racing if you are new to the sport.

The track may also be rented out or used for special events throughout the year. Maintenance and upgrades can also take the track offline from time to time. To be sure the track is open it is always best to check Facebook and the cameras.

We run Trackmate transponders for our scoring system. Transponders are available at the track for purchase or rental.

watering system

Every year we add new jumps and change the flow of the track to keep it exciting for everyone.

Some of the cool features we have are the scoring system setting up heat races and moving drivers into the mains at the end of the night. Our in ground watering system keeps the grip in the track on dry summer days. The snack and drink bar is great when the hunger hits or you get a thirst on.
